A purple-painted V8 short block sits on an orange engine stand in a home garage, viewed from the front with the timing cover and harmonic balancer flange exposed and orange rocker-arm covers taped over the bare heads. A Summit Racing box, drain pan, Edelbrock toolbox, red extension cord, and a bellhousing on a blue tote fill the cluttered workspace behind it.
