This is the K&N FIPK second generation intake tube, attached to the mass airflow sensor, then attached to the stock 5.8 air box. It allows more air straight into the throttly body. The setup is pretty water tight because I removed the lower air inlet and just have the top one.
EDIT: I have since sealed the plastic hose leading to the lower part of the air box and inserted a piece of K & N pre-filter soaked in oil, and held in by metal screen, into the front of the air inlet on top of the radiator in another listing here!
