Under the seal you will find the slinger ring. Hopefully it didnt get damaged from the seal removal. If you remove the ring with a magnet you can lift the outer bearing to inspect. Be sure to install the slinger before the new seal. Dont want to trash the new seal because you forgot it on the bench.
