So far everything has worked out great. The show bar has a half roll bar hoop and a square base that goes around the whole cargo area with square tubing that ends about 6' from the tailgate. It supports the bar solidly and only required about 3/4" trimming of the plastic quarter panel, just above the cargo cover on the sides.
