The fuel pump and sending unit lifted partway out of the access opening in a steel fuel tank, exposing the yellow plastic float arm, red and yellow wiring and pickup tubes inside the tank. The lock ring and rubber seal sit in the flange with a fuel hose draped across the tank top.
