This is where you pry up. First tilt seat forward. Then remove all four floor mounting bolts. Then slide seat base backwards about one foot. Allow seat back to go forward until pressure is off the spring. Then use a screwdriver to pry up on the spring at the spot shown. After you pry up, slide the notch out to the side. Do both sides and all the pressure will be off the spring. Then remove the seat.
