3-07-09: Today I picked up the new donor truck. This is the truck that will be giving up it's chassis for my 54! This should cut atleast a few years off the build time. The truck is a 1984 Ford F250 4x4 with a 351W, 4spd transmission and 3.54 geared limited slip rear diff. This is almost the exact truck I was looking for. The only thing I would change if I could would be for it to be a regular cab instead of the extended cab.



Here it is just after I bought it and got it loaded on my trailer.
