Uncle Bill Wright and his 106 lb Ulua caught shore casting on Molokai back in April 17, 1992. This catch made it in Hawaiis Fishing News 100 lb plus club. He used a 13.8 ft Fenwick pole, Penn 6/0 Senator Reel, and 80 pound test Maxima line and fought it for 21 minutes. My dad made the gaff.
