Looking forward over the weathered black tailgate into a stripped Ford Bronco with its removable top off: seats and carpet are gone, wiring is draped across the bare brown-painted floor, and the tan dashboard and steering wheel remain in place. Blooming trees and a house are visible beyond the open cab.
