You know at first glace i thought the guy was off his rocker. He claimed the truck only had 62,000 miles on it... SO i looked at it pretty close, i mean i was laying up underneath it, looking at the frame, in the weeds... Just kept looking and I'll tell yeah, after what i read (receipts in the dash) and just my general take on this body, i honestly do believe it only has 62,000 miles on it.

Problem though was it was an automatic & it was older then a 92, so a simple swap of stuff, just wasn't that easy... There is a difference in just about every aspect of this vehicle to what i had. It has it's problems, bad 4x4 solenoid, idles rough, no exhaust, bad tires & brakes, sticky shift solenoid, no window, etc plus a few great 1980's cosmetic wonders... Plus you can tell a good ol boy has been under the hood learning about fuel injection systems... vacuum lines off, wires spiced everywhere...

I really was hoping to find a 92 - 95 with a blown motor or bad trans, that someone didn't want an arm & a leg for.... I just couldn't find anything! After a weekend of rampaging through craigslist for my final decision.

I said the hell with it! It's rust free, i can take care of the rest... So for all it's faults, a fresh battery and some gas, i was able to drive it home 30 miles. (I felt like at any minute, she was going to break down on me)... but damn i made it home!

So this will get the guts of a 95, i guess i will sell the rest of the parts off that i don't want to keep or use.
