To protect the new hydroboost, and everything else in the power steering system, I added a Magnefine 3/8" filter by disconnecting the line at the cooler return (silver keystone clamp), pulling it back through the core support, and running a new Gates line to the top of the fan shroud. The only new connection that's not visible under the hood is the one on the cooler outlet.
