The 2000 Toyota 4Runner closed out two things off-roaders search for: it was the final US model year for the factory electric locking rear differential and for the 150 hp 2.7L 3RZ-FE four. The 183 hp 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 carried on, still available with a five-speed manual. These trucks wear the third generation's 1999 mid-cycle facelift.
