1970 Toyota Land Cruiser Specs & Photos
The 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser continued in two forms for the United States: the FJ40 on a 90-inch wheelbase and the FJ55 station wagon on a 106.3-inch span. Both carried the 3.9-liter F-series inline-six, a three-speed manual, and part-time four-wheel drive through a two-speed transfer case. Each body sat on a ladder frame with solid axles and leaf springs at all four corners.
