On the stock setup, the exhaust manifold supplied heat to the intake manifold to warm up the carb and prevent carb icing. Since the EFI manifolds lacked this connection, I had my brother create a plate that allowed me to run coolant to the intake. Unfortunately, the measurements on the bolt holes were slightly off and I had some widening to do.
