Some Indian Head Gasket Shellac really sealed up the threads and gasket. Unfortunately, I found that the smog pump also pumps air into this warming chamber, which created a real mess. I had to disconnect the smog pump and create a new gasket to keep coolant from pumping out of the smog pump inlet. No more smog pump with this setup unless I want to do some real custom work.
