The story
Presently tearing down high pinion front Dana44 straight axle w/disc brakes out of 79' F-150.
Plan to install straight axle, 6" suspension lift, 35" tires and 4.56 gears with trac-loc front and rear in spring of 2003.
Will have before and after pic's of Bronc & axle teardown/rebuild/lift soon and as progress permits.
Will beef up engine with GT40 heads, roller rockers, roller cam, roller lifters as funds permit and get rid of that nasty Holly 4bbl carb.... :-( — Randy Bates

Gears came in today. On the left Dana 44 replacement carrier, 4.56 gears and rebuild kit. On the right Ford 8.8 4.56 gears and rebuild kit. Owner
