My grandfather had a 1980 custom and 1983 xlt. After he passed away I bought both of them for $500. Only the 1983 runs, the 1980 is for spare parts. I had the brakes replaced to make it safe to drive. Then replaced the intake with an Edelbrock high rise and upgraded Edelbrock 4 barrel. I am currently working on cleaning the radiator hoping it will clear up overheating problem an also fixing the tailgate window(getting stuck on the way down). |
