The story

Purchased at 188K in running (but not well) condition
when motor was replaced apparently timing was incorrectly set - which caused overheating and damage to the exhaust manifold gaskets.

Replaced Neutral safety switch to allow engine to run codes, which came up as only GR system (smog pump had been removed). After replacing manifolds with JBA shorties and replacing all exhaust found initial timing was incorrectly set by installer as he never pulled the spout to set base. Engine now runs properly and working on upgrades / restoration throughout.

Very minimal rust under back tailgate lip as well as one spot on passenger drip rail. One area at drivers front fender where it may be coming up from below the paint.

Dash was cracked - replaced with used tan dash from JY in June 2015 and replaced HVAC vacuum switch as well as heater core during reinstallation.

Overall clean truck, and solid project. — Movingtarget
