“Christine”1995 Ford Bronco

The story

this is my 2nd bronco. first one was a 94 5.0 xlt. after 3 transmissions in 2 years, a blown freeze plug on the back of engine caused the marriage vs bronco ultimatum to be threatened and i had to let it go in 2004. an 02 wrangler i bought to replace the bronco made the loss a bit easier but was just not a bronco...i have always loved them. i was always shot down by my ex and later my current wife when i brought the topic of buying another for the 12yrs since i sold the 94, told me i didnt need another toy and a wrangler and my mini cooper were all i needed especially with 3 daughters a wife the only "practical' vehicle we fit in is her 1998 c280 PoS. im stubborn and stupid, so after finding a 95 5.8l xlt 90mi away that spent its whole life in lancaster, pa and only 156k miles well maintained and asking price of $2200 i sold my jeep to my buddy drove up to pa picked up the bronco amd called AAA and said my mini had electrical issues and died and had it tow back to md all while my wife was at work...fortunately my wife after seeing the Awesomeness that is the full size bronco she admitted she liked it and i was able to get my 2nd bronco and not have to suffer through the arguments i assumed were inevitable for my impulsive purchase without permission....i finally purchased the soft top i always wanted for the 94 for,this 95 and getting ready to start replacing the 21+ yr old parts that are still hanging in there and then have some of the rustier areas dealt with.. — MnkyScrtm
