The story
I have modified my Bronco to use as a tow rig for my boat. I pulled the 351W/auto and replaced them with a 95 7.3 Powerstroke/ZF5 combo. The donor was a 95 2wd F250. I also used the rear axle, rear springs, front coil springs, dash, radiator and support, pedal bracket, clutch master and brake master and booster. I replaced the stock front split axle with a 2002 superduty axle. I utilized front coils by making custom brackets to accept the coils and bolt to the superduty leaf spring pads on the axle housing. I also fabricated longer radius arms. It has a stiff ride but drives excellent and will handle a nice load. · Pooleo1955
