The 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was a carryover year for the second-generation GMT330 SUV, retaining the 1998 restyle. Chevrolet introduced the TrailBlazer as a top appearance and equipment package on the four-door LS and LT, a name that would become a separate mid-size model in 2002. The 4.3L Vortec 4300 V6, rated at 190 hp and 250 lb-ft, carried over with a five-speed manual or 4L60-E four-speed automatic in two-door and four-door bodies.
