The 2000 Chevrolet Blazer continued the second-generation GMT330 compact SUV largely unchanged, offered in two-door and four-door bodies. The 4.3L Vortec 4300 V6 carried over at 190 hp and 250 lb-ft, driving a five-speed manual or a 4L60-E four-speed automatic in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The four-door TrailBlazer remained the top package, one year before the TrailBlazer name moved to a separate mid-size SUV for 2002.
