The 2001 Chevrolet Blazer carried over the second-generation GMT330 SUV and was the final year for the TrailBlazer appearance package before that name became a separate mid-size SUV for 2002. The two-door was offered with the Xtreme street-appearance package derived from the S-10 Xtreme, featuring a lowered sport suspension and body-color trim. The 4.3L Vortec 4300 V6 continued at 190 hp and 250 lb-ft with a five-speed manual or 4L60-E four-speed automatic.
