1979 Chevrolet Suburban Specs & Photos
The 1979 Chevrolet Suburban carried square-body construction into a seventh year with seating for up to nine on three bench rows. Half-ton C10/K10 and three-quarter-ton C20/K20 chassis were offered in two and four wheel drive, with 4WD models riding on a leaf-sprung solid front axle. The 454 big block and TH400 three-speed automatic anchored the towing end of the lineup.
