The Police Interceptor used the dual-exhaust 4.6L SOHC modular V8 rated 250 horsepower, paired with the 4R75E four-speed automatic on the 2003 boxed, partly hydroformed frame with rack-and-pinion steering on the rear-wheel-drive Panther platform.
