The 1973 Ford F-100 introduced the sixth-generation "Dentside" F-Series, named for the horizontal crease in its body sides. Engines included the 240 and 300 inline-sixes, the 302 Windsor V8, and the 360, 390, and 460 V8s, all rated in SAE net horsepower. The 1973 Ford F-100 used Twin-I-Beam front suspension on two-wheel-drive trucks.
