The 1979 Ford F-100 was the final year of the "Dentside" sixth generation, with rectangular headlamps used across the range. The 300-cubic-inch six remained standard, with the 302, 351M, and 400 V8s as options. The 1980 Ford F-100 followed with the redesigned "Bullnose" body, the final US F-100 generation.
