Ford Fairlane
1964 Ford Fairlane Specs & Photos
The 1964 Ford Fairlane wore squared-up new sheetmetal and dropped the 221 V8, leaving the 260 and 289 Windsors as the regular V8 choices. Ford also built roughly 100 Thunderbolt lightweights this year, fitting the 427 High Riser, rated at 425 hp gross, into stripped Fairlane hardtops for NHRA Super Stock drag racing. Hardtops, sedans, and wagons carried over in Fairlane and Fairlane 500 trim.
The 1964 Ford Fairlane is part of the Fourth-Gen Fairlane (First Intermediate) generation (1962–1965). See the full Ford Fairlane 1962–1965 registry →
