Ford Fairlane
1963 Ford Fairlane Specs & Photos
The 1963 Ford Fairlane added hardtop coupes and station wagons to what had been a sedan-only intermediate line. The 289 V8 arrived mid-year, and the solid-lifter 289 High Performance made its production debut in the Fairlane at 271 hp gross, a year before the Mustang offered it. This was the only model year in which the 221, 260, and 289 Windsors were all catalogued.
The 1963 Ford Fairlane is part of the Fourth-Gen Fairlane (First Intermediate) generation (1962–1965). See the full Ford Fairlane 1962–1965 registry →
