The 2001 Ford Focus entered its second North American model year with the same ZX3 hatchback, sedan, and wagon body styles. Engines carried over: the 110-horsepower 2.0-liter SPI four and the 130-horsepower 2.0-liter Zetec. Ford cited the Focus as the best-selling car in the world for 2001, and the car returned to Car and Driver's 10Best list.
