The 2006 Ford Focus carried the refreshed C170 design into its second year with ZX3, ZX4, ZX5, and ZXW body styles. The 136-horsepower 2.0-liter Duratec 20 remained the volume engine, and the ZX4 ST sedan continued with the 151-horsepower 2.3-liter Duratec 23. This was the final model year for the ZX naming scheme, which gave way to a conventional trim ladder for 2007.
