The 1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria continued with the refreshed body introduced for 1988, the fuel-injected 5.0L (302) Windsor V8, and the AOD four-speed overdrive automatic on the full-size Panther platform. Sedan and LTD Country Squire station-wagon bodies were offered, with the 5.8L (351 Windsor) V8 reserved mainly for fleet and police use.
