The 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria was the final, shortened model year of the boxy LTD Crown Victoria before the 1992 redesign. It used the fuel-injected 5.0L (302) Windsor V8 with the AOD four-speed automatic on the full-size Panther platform, with the 5.8L (351 Windsor) V8 reserved mainly for fleet and police use. For 1992 the car was restyled, dropped the LTD prefix and the station wagon, and adopted the 4.6L modular V8.
