Ford Torino
1975 Ford Torino Specs & Photos
The 1975 Ford Torino carried over the third-generation body and adopted catalytic converters requiring unleaded fuel, while the Elite became its own separate model line rather than a Torino trim. The inline-six was dropped, leaving a V8-only lineup of the 351, 400, and 460 cu in engines, all rated in SAE net horsepower. Body styles were the two-door hardtop, the four-door pillared hardtop, and the station wagon, across the base Torino, Gran Torino, and Gran Torino Brougham trims. The three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic was the primary transmission.
The 1975 Ford Torino is part of the Gran Torino generation (1972–1976). See the full Ford Torino 1972–1976 registry →
