The 4.7-liter V8 gained new cylinder heads and dual ignition, raising output to 305 horsepower from the previous 235. It was also the final model year the Mercedes-sourced 3.0-liter CRD turbodiesel V6, rated at 215 horsepower and 376 lb-ft, was offered in the United States.
