Jeep Wagoneer

1977 Jeep Wagoneer Specs & Photos

The 1977 Jeep Wagoneer is a full-size, body-on-frame four-door wagon on the SJ platform, a design AMC continued building after acquiring Jeep in 1970. Standard power came from the AMC 360 cubic inch (5.9L) two-barrel V8 rated at 130 hp net, with the four-barrel 401 cubic inch (6.6L) V8 at 195 hp net available at extra cost. It used a three-speed automatic transmission and Quadra-Trac full-time four-wheel drive, the system Jeep had introduced in 1973. The 1977 model was a mid-generation carryover of the long-running SJ line, with the top Limited trim carrying woodgrain bodyside treatment.
