Lincoln Mark VIII
1993 Lincoln Mark VIII Specs & Photos
The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII launched the model on the Ford FN10 chassis, an evolution of the MN12 platform shared with the Thunderbird and Cougar. Its all-aluminum 4.6L (281 cu in) DOHC 32-valve V8 produced 280 net horsepower at 5500 rpm and 285 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through a 4R70W four-speed automatic. Offered only as a two-door coupe, the 1993 Mark VIII used a short-long-arm independent suspension with standard computer-controlled air springs that lowered ride height at speed. It replaced the Fox-platform Mark VII.
