CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE AIR CLEANER LID MOUNTING SCREWS. STEP ll: Clean the mounting surfaces of the lower and upper intake manifold. STEP l2: Position new gasket (part # ESE-9H4B6-A) on the lower intake. STE 13: Re-install upper intake. STEP l4: Re-instali the six upper to lower intake retaining bolts, Torque the bolts to i8-2l Ib-ft, starting in the middle and use a criss cross pattern. STEP IS: lie-install the upper intake support bracket bolt. Torque to |2-l 8 lbftlf the lower bolt was loosened retorque it to l2-l8 lb-ft. STEP l6: Re-install the front bolt shield.(if required} STEP l7: Reconnect the EGR valve sensor connector. idle speed connector. engine coolant and throttle position connector. STEP l8: Re-connect the vacuum lineis) to EGR valve and vacuum tree. STEP [9: Re-connett the heater hoses to the mrottle body. STEP 20: Re-connect the canister purge lines to the throttle body.
