the stock bolts were too short for use with the shim. i picked up (6) 1-1/2" long 1/2" bolts. 3 per side are used on the backing plate.

the stock nuts are stover style lock nuts to prevent loosening over time. they did not have any locknuts available where i bought the bolts so i used normal nuts with loctite to prevent loosening
