being a daily driver i needed the truck running ASAP. I used www.car-part.com to find a 96 Explorer 5.0 to find an engine locally that was still open on a Saturday. had to drive a bit of a distance but we did manage to buy a used 5.0 for $400 pulled by the yard pretty much complete
