A partially assembled V8 sits in the engine bay with the intake manifold off, showing orange roller rocker arms on the driver-side head, exposed valve springs and pushrods, and the open lifter valley. A bare alternator, blue V-belt pulleys, water pump and steel fan blades are mounted on the front of the engine, with the black radiator shroud at right.
