Two views of a worn rubber clutch reservoir diaphragm part
The mythical, elusive diaphragm. Many people don't realize that this MUST be removed before checking/adding brake fluid to the clutch master cylinder reservoir. So it can often be found full of fluid above an empty reservoir.
The inside if this diaphragm should be DRY, and the fluid should reach the step molded into the wall of the master cylinder reservoir.
