Checking the deck height of the Keith Black (KB-181) pistons.
On the earlier block, they stick out of the hole by .005" after cleaning up the deck.
I used a .042 (compressed) head gasket, which put the quench distance at an ideal .037".
Quench=flat portion of head to matched flat portion of piston.
Combustion chambers are 54.5cc, which nets me a static CR of 9.7:1.
