This is a photograph of a car show display sign (shaped like a Model T radiator shell) describing a customized 1918 Ford Model T hot rod. The placard lists build specifications in four sections: Body, Engine, Chassis (spelled 'Chasis'), and Transmission. The body is a 1918 all-steel Ford with 1918 grill/radiator, 14" wood-and-brass Model T steering wheel, custom Stuart-Warner dashboard, Model T headlights with halogen inserts, frenched '39 Ford taillights, custom louvered hood and trunk, chrome trunk rack, upholstery by Mike Harper, Speedway windshield wiper, Ford Competition Red paint, and owner-done wiring/MSD. The four-cylinder engine (balanced by Ron Williams) displaces 153 CID with a 3/4 Eskinderian cam, Frontenac overhead-valve conversion, dual 97's intake, 4" stainless exhaust with Smitty insert, and MSD ignition. The chassis uses a boxed and Z'd Model T frame, '35 Ford suicide front suspension, '35 Ford rear end (3.78:1), '35 Ford steering, Houdaille shocks, 15" wheels with Cooper R15 tires, '48 Ford hubcaps, '40 Ford hydraulic brakes, early Ford emergency brake, and a 40's Ventura S.B. Car Club Whistler plaque. Transmission is a Borg Warner 3-speed stick with overdrive and open driveshaft. Built by Bob Lindebaum; owned/finished by George Rose. The sign notes the car was built as in the late 40's and is 'NOT a Kit Car.'
