Here you can see the piece of sheet metal I bent up to extend the bolt pattern 1 5/8" to match the Crown Vic pattern. I could have just made tabs but I wanted the extra strength of a fully welded piece. The piece was bent and fit to match the contours of the Mustang assembly and fully welded. It should be plenty strong. At this point the assembly fit all the bolt locations perfectly, but the quadrant hit the inside of the dash support. I'll use a mini sledge and a piece of pipe to hammer a nice radiused path for it. The full size LTD and Crown Vic are body on frame do the dash support isn't structural. That's not always the case on unit body cars.
