9" axle build and installView all 47
A full-width rear axle housing laid across a red workbench in a wood-framed shop, stripped and wire-wheeled to bare metal with a long angle-iron straightedge clamped along the top for truss or bracket layout. Welding gloves rest on the bench, a MIG welder sits below, and shelves behind hold spray paint, lacquer thinner and antifreeze.
