Hopefully, you have the floor shifter cable (6W3Z-7E395-A), otherwise you will need to follow jimh874's guide on crownvic.net and reroute your column cable. If you have the floor shifter cable, this is how i installed mine, basically once you start to remove the column cable you see how it is installed and that is the same way you will be installing the floor shifter cable, but now the cable is longer and mounts into the floor shifter without any problems.
