So I had 4.56 gears put in my 8.8 and broke it in the required 500 miles, the right way, and drained and filled the diff up and headed to the Rubicon. Spent 3 three days wheelin and camping with the family and 11 other rigs and had a great time. Three months later I pulled into the driveway and "BANG" bye bye rear end! The case cracked off the ring gear and jacked up the ring and pinion....
