Framework housing a droop limiter cable for the front suspension. It lessens the amount the hood rises up on steep climbs due to weight transfering off the front suspension (same principle as a 'center limit strap' used on a solid beam axle). The cable also helps to force more articulation from the suspension when it tightens.
