Then I usually add about 4 or 5 quarts of transmission fluid to it, connect the negative battery terminal back up, start it up for a few seconds and look for leaks. Shut it off and finish filling it up. Mine took about 8 ½ quarts of transmission fluid, but I didn%u2019t drain the torque converter when I did this.
